A 55yr old male patient with chief complaints of pain in abdomen since a week on further examinations there are decreased movements of Right upper quadrant on respiration.he was diagnosed with LIVER ABSECESS ,but is not drainable.as an alternate he was treated with antibiotics and advised for weekly followup until stable.

This is a case of WERNIKES ENCEPHALOPATHY secondary to chronic alcohol dependence ,uraemic encephalopathy,alcohol withdrawal delerium.He is a diabetic and He also has chronic ucer on heel of right foot.The treatment was given for sezieres and ulcer.Advised to avoid pressure over ulcer for healing.

[MY TAKE ON THIS CASE]

Here the patient is diagnosed with atrial fibrillations due to hyperthyroidism.so treated for defibrilation.But her past history shows that she was a patient of hypothyroidism and on thyronorm 100mg tablets which shows that fibrillations are caused due to its overdose .she should be suggested with lower dose or thyroid test to check her status again.

DUE to pandemic situation we all became online students.

Eventhough it is though adusting to online learning and clinicals i tried to overcome it as much as possible with help our faculty.Mainly general medicine ,Dr. rakesh sir ,made a watts app grp and included us in online discussions .And history taking through telecommunication ,

Eventhough it is though and new to all of us ,we learned a lot new things in this period by virtual exposure.
